2022-03-01 06:03:54 +0000 UTCGiven that the Umiak have a Farsight-evasion technology, there’s a slight chance there’s a local tactical psi shield in development. I doubt it’s deployed on this B-list salvage craft, but it is the one they sent to salvage the Loroi vessel. Jardin is probably just used to being a psi blind species who can’t magically feel nearby foes through walls. But the Loroi might be a little too used to having those abilities. If the Umiak take them away, they’ll have to adapt.
