2025-07-11 05:21:23 +0000 UTCThanks for answering my question about AEW, Greg. I would say that AEW has changed quite a bit since CM Punk debuted (for obvious reasons and to get better). Wrestling is still the focus, but there is quite a bit of story. Totally hear you on the death match element (and honestly that's a limited part of the show). I remember Snowbike Mike talking about the unsanctioned match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne at Elimination Chamber and how crazy it was, and I was like, Mike, you haven't seen anything! Honestly, for me it is the focus on a more sports-like presentation of wrestling matches and the focus on the skill of wrestling that I enjoy (as opposed to the sports entertainment elements of WWE that feel more geared towards kids). I don't mean that to say that AEW replicates the bad elements of the Attitude era, but it is geared more towards a mature audience. I get you on time being limited (also a parent). I ultimately was hoping the KF crew would check out AEW for comparison purposes and thought All In (this Saturday) was a good opportunity given that is basically AEW's WrestleMania. If this event didn't click with anyone, then there's a good chance AEW wouldn't click at all. Thanks again!
