Surprising Canadian Species

Hello everyone!

I'm flying from Indonesia to Canada tomorrow, which meant that I needed a topic this week that I could produce in only a few days, and I'm sharing it with you now, as it's already done.

I've selfishly wanted to do this topic for a really long time. I know it might not have broad appeal, but it was fun for me to make.

I hope you're all doing well!

Surprising Canadian Species

Very nice! I've lived in Ontario my whole life, and I also took our wildlife for granted as a kid, but what we lack in exotic species, we make up for in iconic species. I'm surprised you didn't mention that the rear-fang venomous hognose snakes are native to a good portion of southern Canada up to the north of the Great Lakes.

very interesting, for someone like me living in Canada. I did not know about the boa, the scorpion or the horned lizard. And I was surprised that the opossum is an invasive species as we see them EVERYWHERE in western Canada.
