That way you would still keep your style, but also made people who would like more hardcore and faster action happier.

1/2 Now I can see resemblance :) Well, I can say that I understand why you do things the way you do them. Generally slower pace it's good for the story and is allowing to make it deeper. Though it's also giving your supporters blue balls (unless they're happy to fap to for example only HJ). You are releasing kind of two different comic episodes each month, but it usually takes at least two episodes for each story to reach climax point - so two, three months for a fapable comic made of two episodes. Thus it take time for the story to reach point with serious stuff. But it's your style - we can either accept it or leave :P I'm accepting it because you do great comics. Though personally I would prefer faster pace and more hardcore action even if depth of the story would suffer.

Long story short: you made it bearable for me, I though you might because you're great in making stories so thank you for that. But for now it's as High Tide - 2nd class in overall quality (though your 2nd class is better than 90% of stuff elsewhere). General motive is exploited deeply, but you made it unique yet again. Series is long which is nice, it allow space to build up things. There are many small things that add to the story like mom hit by snowball :'D Son having fantasy about our Mile High celebrity mom :) Yet again you made whole episode with HJ only, but it was great nevertheless. Mother, it's the best mother looking mother you made in my opinion. Very motherly type in both look and behavior. She reminds me some actress I just can't remember which one - perhaps you were inspired by some?
