Episode 16 Progress Update #2

Episode 16 Progress Update #2

I've gotten through a few smaller scenes since the last update. The next scene I'm going to do is the biggest in the episode in terms of the plot. It's not too complicated of a scene but it's a long scene, so I'm not sure how long it will take or how many renders it'll be. I plan on writing and getting started with the first few renders of this important scene this weekend.

Looking at a snapshot of the episode, it's pretty short. I realized that I'm around the halfway part of renders and several scenes I wanted to do are already done. I save the sex scenes for last because they have animations. That means I'm not sure what the final render count will be. The sex scenes in this episode are also going to have some talking in them, so I have to render the 'normal' parts of those scenes as well. My render progress is just an estimate because of that. I may be over or underestimating and I'm not sure at this point but I know I'm in the area of the halfway point.

Holiday obligations last month distracted me more than I was expecting. Apologies if I gave the impression that I was going to be working more consistently. But I was able to get the scenes done that I wanted to. I just wasn't able to get a head start on the bigger scenes. This episode is going to fluctuate a lot because I haven't finalized how I want to structure the sex scenes and their placements. My plan is to just focus on this next big scene because of what it means. After that, there are some smaller/shorter (but still very important) scenes that I want to get done. My plans for January are to get through this next big scene and hopefully the next few shorter scenes. By the end of the month, if things go well, I'll be into the sex scenes and starting animations.

That being said, January doesn't look like it's in the cards for a release. On a related note, I honestly don't check sign-ups regularly. I assume you all sign-up at the beginning of the month because that's when the charge is. I'm sure you're signing-up in hopes of a release that month. I realized that I should be more specific at the end of the month to give you a better idea of what's going to happen in the next month, so you can make a better decision to stick around or leave. If I could give some general advice on what to do since I'm very vague and don't give release dates, just play it safe and don't assume a release until it's actually posted. In summary, January isn't likely.

In this episode, there are going to be some major story developments. Episode 15 ended with a cliffhanger that should've hinted that things are going to happen. And I've even spoken about it, so there shouldn't be any surprises that stuff happens in Episode 16. Episode 16 and the episodes that follow are going to be very closely connected.

I always say that I'm excited about upcoming episodes and Episode 16 isn't an exception. In Episode 15, I finally got to talk more about Riley and reveal Sharp, two things I've been keeping to myself for a long time. In Episode 16, there are more things that I've been keeping to myself that will be revealed. I don't want to build it up too much because it might not meet your expectations in terms of big surprises but personally, I'm looking forward to it.

That's it for this update. I've got some philosophy posts planned as well as a potential plans for 2025 to talk about this month. If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know.

I hope you all enjoyed your holidays and hope you're having a great 2025 so far. Thanks for helping me get to this point. Take care and I'll talk to you soon.

Thanks for the update Venuz. No need to fret about work done, especially in December. I think everyone knows that less work will be done in late December. We all deserve time off to spend with loved ones. As for Patreon charges. Mine is on the first each month, because my pledge is from when all pledges were synced to the first each month. I've kept it active since (checks billing history) September 2021. I hope this shows how much I want to support you and your wonderful game. I'm with you for this journey.
