Episode 16 And Beyond

Episode 15 was a big plot point in the story because of the two major moments. The first is hooking up with Riley and thus having a moment with every eligible woman in the story. The second is the reveal of Jay Sharp.

Sharp's reveal is important because his appearance marks the end of the third arc of the story. When I was outlining the entire story, I segmented things loosely because I could never plan exactly how I was going to fit everything in. Now that we're here, I can talk about the full scope of the story and the shape it's going to take.

The First Arc (Episode 1 - 6)

The first arc of the story is the exposition and introductions. This is where you meet all of the characters. Initial storylines are established like the fighting tournament, the modeling competition, your science project with Harlow, etc. This is to establish the foundation of all of the things that you have to do, even though your goals are far from being achieved.

In terms of romance, this is the initial stages of your relationships. You're still getting to know the ladies after just meeting them. Before getting involved with them, I wanted you to first establish some type a relationship, even if it's something professional and not friendly. There had to be a hook, whether it's a business arrangement with Erika or a school project you're working on with Harlow.

The Second Arc (Episodes 7 - 10)

The second arc of the story starts after the explosion at the original coffee shop. This is the lowest point in the story at this point. It's supposed to discombobulate you and give you a larger goal to focus on. While you're putting out other fires with all of the other goals you have to deal with, this is a larger fire—literally and figuratively—that you have to contend with.

Also in this arc, your relationships grow stronger with all of the women, not necessarily directly as a result from the incident. For example, Vanessa reveals her face to you in this arc, which is meant to be a turning point and an opening to deepen your bonds beyond the introductions established in the previous arc.

The Third Arc (Episode 11 - 15)

This arc is centered around the construction of the new coffee shop. With the new coffee shop opening, there's a rise from the low point in the previous arc. It's meant to inspire you and give you hope that you can achieve your goal. Even the ones that were thrust upon you against your will. All of your challenges are being met.

All of those challenges include the women themselves. Your relationships at this point are beyond something that's more than a friendship. They're meant to be something more than just physical, too. They share with you something they wouldn't share with just anybody.

Even if you don't pursue Riley, this arc ends in the same two ways. It ends on the high point of having a good night with Riley and realizing that you're close to achieving your goals. The other is an ominous point with the arrival of Sharp. Which brings me back to the two major plot points of Episode 15 and why they're so important.

The Fourth and Final Arc (Episode 16 - )

Starting in Episode 16, you will face a culmination of everything that has been building to this point. All of the goals you established in the first arc and have been working toward over the course of the story will be coming to a climax. You'll be facing your greatest challenges to finally achieve your ultimate goals.

I can't speak specifically on what happens because of spoilers obviously. I'll get into more details with every episode as they're being developed. But I can say that we are now at the point of entering the final arc for the main story.

Some people asked me and speculated as to how many episodes there will be. I never had an answer because I was never really sure. Looking at my outline, figuring out what events need to happen, where things are going, and what I have planned for the next few episodes, etc., I have a better idea now than I ever have before. And I'll get an even clearer picture with every release. I don't plan the specifics of every episode until I'm working on the episode directly but I know what's going to happen in the next several episodes. Putting things concretely, my plan is for the final arc to conclude no later than Episode 20. This is only for the main story arc and doesn't include endings, variable romance options, and tying up loose ends of all your relationships with the ladies. This is strictly for the story and not all of the fun stuff I'm sure most of you are all interested in.

I hope this gives you all a better idea of where things are going. We're still several episodes away and with development always inconsistent, it's hard to tell how long things will take. But I have a plan and I wanted to share this all with you.

This is the first time I've ever talked about the end before and I have to say, it's nice to finally be able to talk about the end this openly. We've been sailing the seas for a long time now. There's been nothing but water in every direction. But if you squint enough, it kind of looks like land near the horizon. I see the finish line. It means a lot to me to get to even just this point. Some of you have been there since the beginning. Some of you have joined in the middle of development. Regardless of how long you've been here, I couldn't have gotten even this far without any of you. Sometimes when I think about it, I can't believe I'm still going. I've had all of this planned for a long time. To know that there are people out there who care enough to see the end of this story... I just... I can't even type properly or put into words what it feels like. I'm just grateful and it's hard to convey that in text. Thank you.

With all of that, this story is my idea and creation. I came up with everything. I want to tell the story that I want to tell. However, I understand it's your story as well because you're the MC. I'm doing my best not to let myself down and I'm doing everything I can not to let you down either.

There's still a lot of development to go. There's no point in even talking about Episode 17 and beyond when Episode 16 is still being worked on.
