Episode 15 Progress Update #2

I always try to be conservative with estimates of where I'm at and what I need to do. I'd say I'm clearly past the halfway point in terms of render count. I want to say that I don't have many renders left because there are two scenes to render but they're big scenes, including animations, so my estimate is going to be lower.

Some of these scenes are complex and since it's a focused episode, the render count is going to be lower. I'll have more of an in-depth explanation of what this all means after the release of the episode because I don't want to spoil anything. I will say that this episode will change the entire dynamic of the game both for you (who are going to see a major shift in the story) and me (who is going to be able to talk freely and openly without having to worry about spoilers).

I'm not sure there are going to be previews in the update after this since they'll give too much away. But I just want to let you all know that I'm working and progress is being made.

It's the end of July and there are a few days left. I'm going to use these last few days to take a bite out of this next scene going into August.

I know a lot of you would prefer release dates or even estimates for when things are coming. My plan for August is to definitely finish renders and start getting into animations. Depending on how complex the animations there are and how many there are will determine just how much of my progress is significant. As I always say, the renders are the bulk of the episode. Once I have the renders, the animations are the next step. The writing and coding takes a bit but not nearly as much as the rendering, so it's all downhill once I finish the scene.

With all of that said, I won't make any promises on a release for August, so if please make sure to manage your subscription if you don't want to get charged with no guarantee of the next update. It should go without saying but never feel any pressure to stick around. I appreciate you and your support. I know it sucks that I'm vague but I'd rather be vague and uncertain than make a promise I can't keep.

I'm going to keep grinding away in August and see just how much I can get done. Business as usual.
