Nova Terra Illustration (Poll Winner)
Added 2025-08-30 01:00:03 +0000 UTCNovember Terra! I miss Starcraft. I probably suck at it now cus' I've forgetten the build orders. I've been wanting to draw Nova for a while ever since I've made that Kerrigan piece. Justifying any Blizzard fan art is tough nowadays, even I'm not motivated to draw anything Overwatch.
Well, this is my first "full" illustration where everything is painted start to finish this year not counting portraits. The process was faster but I did encounter the usual problems ultimately requiring me to pay attention with my work. I can still zone out when I can but the main part of the piece needs to have my full focus.

Kerrigan's last stand against the Zerg was pretty badass. Didn't think she would come back until Starcraft 2. Her new form was cool, it reminds of QoP from Dota but her pre-full transformation form looks a bit awkward.

2025-09-03 00:30:56 +0000 UTCVery nice! I actually got to play Ghost multiplayer back at the first BlizzCon. It was a lot of fun. Nova always felt to me like Blizzard realized “Shit, pre-Zerg Kerrigan was cool. What do we do now? Make another one?”

2025-08-30 08:18:04 +0000 UTCGreat work! I always thought pre-Zergified Kerrigan and Samus would get along great. I was disappointed that the Starcraft: Ghost game was cancelled, as I was looking forward to a way into the StarCraft universe without having to play StarCraft, which I'm terrible at. I do wonder if Blizzard will ever return to the StarCraft universe.
