[UPDATE] The big life choice

September was a very eventful month, seeing myself trying different techniques and adapting my speed to work with commissions. I’m extremely happy with where I am in terms of art, learning more each and every day.
To get straight to the point, my father is asking me to do something very important for my family, which is to pseudo replace him in his job. That means that I’ll be taking his position as a property and home insurance inspector. I was very shaken by what he was asking me, but he told me that he would be helping me out since I’ll be new to the position. To be perfectly honesty, I am more than happy to do what I must to provide for my family, but I also never want to leave art. What I’ll be doing is do the inspecting and property evaluation whenever I’m free while still doing art at a regular pace. It means that I may reduce the amount of art, but I’ll be increasing the quality of each piece. I hope you guys understand that I am doing this solely because I found it the best way to help my family out. I won’t see you any different if you decide to stop supporting me, I completely understand. I’ve used Patreon as a method to get a small supplementary income, not as a main source, but as a fun way to earn while doing something that I love.
I don’t know what I’m going to start, but the sooner the better according to my father as high-value work is starting to filter in. Please look forward to the Belfast drawing I’m working on as I believe that will be my best piece to date. Thank you all for the wonderful support you’ve all given me, it has helped me validate my own self as an artist.
