I didn’t even cry when I watched the episode (though being a new mother at the time that scene with Skylar chasing the car got me a bit) But your reaction made me genuinely sad. That’s honestly how I felt for Mike. All the sadness for Marie and the scene with Walt fighting Skylar for the knife. Hooooooweee that was intense. But seeing what happened to Jessie really broke me. It really is the “feel bad for Jessie” show. Good on ya for powering through this episode, it’s a doozy. 🫡 Also, all the episodes leading up this your reactions just remind me of Monsters Inc when Sully is watching the garbage cube being made and he thinks Boo is in the mashed up cube. 😅 Sorry, dude!

It's good to go back and watch the scene just for the incredible acting, though - like how Walt was crying while trying to sound menacing. So good!

I think you missed the point of the phone call though, hopefully during editing you notice it’s all to do with keeping the family out of trouble, like she was under duress and not helping him! Bravo though dude! That reaction was as heart breaking as the episode!! (Not ashamed to admit I cried with you!)

2025-03-10 23:53:14 +0000 UTCHard to have any sympathy for Walt at this point, but I will give him credit for doing one selfless thing, trying to get Skyler off the hook with the police for her part in everything. I think a lot of people, justifiably, are so angry at Walt by this point that they miss what that phone call truly meant, that he was trying to right a wrong. Does it redeem him? Absolutely not. But to me, the final episodes are about him trying to fix anything he can before he dies. The lives of everyone around him are forever ruined - this episode in a way could be the final episode of the season. It's the episode where all the consequences of Walt's actions finally catch up to him. He loses his family, forever, in more ways than one, in this episode. The final two feel more like an episode to the story - how will Walt choose to go out, and can he repair any of the damage he's caused? This show was never going to have a happy ending. I think they always knew that when they started making the show. But can we watch the final credits roll and feel, at least, content? At peace with the final decisions? I think the ending is as close to content as we could hope to get. Sorry for getting ahead of this episode, but we all know you've finished by now. Still looking forward to seeing the journey, and thank you to the bloody legends!

I still wouldn’t go as far as giving him any kudos because you really grow to dislike him and she too is in part the blame for what happened to Hank. She could have turned against him at any stage after she found out. Even when Hank found out she could have turned against him but instead stood by Walt. It would’ve played out much different for Hanks story if that happened. But that wouldn’t make as perfect and emotional of an episode they did the right thing story wise

He basically got her off

He knew that agents were in the room and made Skyler out to be a helpless victim with everything while she is also complicit. He wanted to make sure she could not be arrested which is why he was so harsh and made it look like she was forced into helping. He is still a scumbag who deserves 1000x worse than what he got in the end

2025-03-10 22:21:01 +0000 UTCWas sooo worth the upgrade! 🩵 I think we all had that same reaction when we saw the episode 😂😭😭 Also, the ONLY redeeming thing Walt did was that phone call to Skyler. He knew the police would be there and would listen in, and what he did was to shift any suspicion that she was an accessory or accomplice. I think she realized it as well, you could see in her eyes towards the end, as Walt never spoke to her like that before.
