Text Update (plus post ref maybe?)

Hi folks, it's been quite a while and i realized that time has become a miasma that I cannot see my way through! Let's Update!

I ended up getting sick literally 3 days after Minnesota went into lockdown. I wasn't sick enough to get tested, but I lost about a month to bedrest. Even now I still get out of breath faster than I feel I should be. I'm trying to get out a bit and do some walking, but the park near my apartment has been so full of people.

A friend of mine hooked us up with some nice masks with a nose wire, so my glasses problems have been solved! June hasn't gotten sick at all, and has been very sweet about going to the store for us.  She recently released a single that I think you might enjoy -  https://junelalonde.bandcamp.com/track/a-birch-is-an-anchor  Please give it a listen!

My day job has been really busy, as I work for a software company that deals with online social events. I went from getting ~10 emails a day including Jira tickets to OVER 40 A DAY and its been so so so much.  I am currently thanking my lucky stars for Animal Crossing.  My typical day is to get up at like 10, stare into the void of Twitter for an hour, work from 11-6 with nearly no breaks, then play Animal Crossing for 2 hours, then stare at youtube until i fall asleep at 2. It hasn't been great, but we're surviving and I'm really grateful that we're both pretty healthy.

I was able to get a 2018 iPad and an iPencil with Procreate and I've been getting used to drawing in bed again. If y'all want to post a ref, I'll see how many headshots/brush tests I can get done for y'all.

As always, now that I have a day job, Patreon is just a tipjar for me, so if you are in a financial situation, please know that it's fine to drop your pledge. I am thankful that so many of you have stuck around even though I don't have as much time to draw, but I don't want anyone to feel like they're the difference between me and eating or anything like that.

I hope you all are staying safe out there and getting what joy you can during all of this.

Take care, and good luck during this stuff, doe. (If you'd like to doodle a Digi: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26174643/ )

Glad to hear you’re recovering a bit even with the increased workload! Refs are here if you would like to do something! https://dexthedragon.co.uk/refs
