Like all turbine generators, the energy produced is related to the current flow. Expect energy output to vary in different areas and to fluctuate if your environment has variable currents. The T242 will sense and adapt to changes in current direction, maximizing current flow. And remember, the JetStream T242 has a fluid viscosity range of .8 centipoise to 500 centipoise and should be submerged at least 3 meters. Optimal output occurs between 1 and 15 centipoise (water and ethylene glycol respectively at 70F/21C and Earth standard atmospheric pressure).
