[Mixtape, Vol. 3] Random Number Generator

Get ready for some bonafide musical gambling! I've had a blast putting together the lottery episodes each month over on YouTube, but it's time to kick it up a notch with fifteen random songs in a row—mixtape style!

As expected, the result is a fairly eclectic playlist that feels somewhat cohesive. The best part is the range of popularity between the winning bands; one band has less than 300 monthly listeners, another band has almost 6 million monthly listeners...and everything in between!

Let's get weird! 🎲

ANOTHER GREAT PLAYLIST, INWAS ABSOLUTELY OVERJOYED TO SEE MY BELOVED MINOR THREAT *AND* 7 SECONDS!!

Hey, I do see every comment! Thanks for the insight there, that was a confusing band out of context, but I could sense they had a cool side to them outside of a single song. Appreciate the kind words and I'll look them up soon!

Old thread not sure if you’ll see this, but the Gatsby’s American Dream song may have seemed a bit out of place and odd because Ribbons & Sugar is a concept album of the book Animal Farm and the album really should be listened to as a full piece rather than individual songs. Incredibly band and album though, love these mixtapes!

I did a Gang of Four cover set for Halloween a few years back. That album is fucking great, and soke of their grooves are a bit tricky to fall into. I would've picked like pretty much any other song over Ether though.

Matt’s voice was so good in that Alk3 era.
