I donโt remember all the names, but Iโm assuming Gathers was one of the lackeys who jumped Rei in book 1? I donโt know why the gang would treat him otherwise, unless he and Rei had some offscreen altercation. Iโm surprised Abel didnโt know of Rei until the end of the Semester. The MIND not sending a heads-up to the higher ups is an oddity. We also know of itโs also strangely humanly desire to want Abel dead is crazy for an AI this powerful. Dent with her fascination in old world media, should definitely have ran across โEvil ruler of the Galaxyโ AI. Unless the MIND scrapped everything? Idk it just seems weird to me how human the MIND is with no one questioning it, book 1 definitely gave a kiddish vibe when Rei was having his interview pre-cad assign. With a more cynical personality in book 2.

Illuminating secondary characters is a rarer gift in an author than one might believe. Excellent chapter worth the wait. Thanks.
