BIG NEWS! The Future of the Pilot
Added 2024-09-26 00:36:07 +0000 UTCAs of last week, we’ve officially teamed up with Iron Circus to help fund the final stretch of the Far-Fetched pilot! This is a huge help for us to get the ball rolling faster, as they’re going to provide some much needed assistance with launching/promoting a kickstarter to attain funding, while we continue to focus on actually getting this thing made. Currently, our pilot is roughly 60-70% finished and we want to get it done long before we die, so we’ve decided to plan a crowdfund for the last leg of production! Thus far we’ve been producing the pilot with funding from our amazing patrons (aka you guys), some merch, but mostly Ashley’s personal income from working on other projects and at this point that method just isn’t sustainable and will take a good bit more time. That’s why we’ve decided to turn to a crowdfunding campaign not just to raise the last bit of money we need, but also to greatly increase the pay of our team as a lot of animation workers are out of work right now due to rampant greed and corruption in the industry. Iron Circus is going to help us put the whole thing together, as they did with Lackadaisy’s wildly successful Backerkit and as part of the deal we’ll also be putting together our own book filled with comics, production art, behind the scenes info, and much more as a backing reward as well! We’ll keep you updated on all the details for the campaign and book as they come together, and thank you all again for your continued support of our show!

In an industry under such recent turmoil, it does my heart good to see original productions like this one make steps forward instead of getting written off on the books. Count me in!
