• Q: What is everyone doing at an Ikea?

  • A: Rue is trying to keep Kira from destroying everything, Griff is either going right for the meatballs or laying on the pre-made beds to know what it’s like, Piper is running around with Warren and Regan picking out things to redecorate her room with while Warren is responsible for the cart, Quinn gets one section in before complaining that his feet hurt and making Warren push him along in the cart, Drain wouldn’t be in an Ikea but if he were he’d be hiding in a closet staring at Quinn, Clodagh finds some poor millennial to rant at about how furniture used to be nice and now it’s garbage while pulling up photos of torn up furniture she finds on the side of the road “Now this is furniture!”

• Q: How old is Vincent?

  • As of now he was born in 1813, might make him a touch younger because of the way vampire stuff works, getting that old is a bit difficult but if anyone was going to have the resources it would be him.

• Q: Was Interview With the Vampire Drain’s bi awakening?

  • A: We’ll get back to that once Ashley watches it.
    

• Q: Is Drain tech savvy?

  • A: He knows enough how to operate the soundboard and production stuff for his DJ’ing. He’s a loser shut in so he’s had plenty of time to learn his way around technology, so he’s fairly tech savvy.
    

• Q: How would the gang do on Wheel of Fortune?

  • A: Griff would instantly guess right with just two letters getting revealed, Rue’s sweater gets caught on the spokes and she just gets grabbed and dies, the host says the answer and Quinn goes “mm, I don’t think that’s right”, Piper buys all the vowels without caring, Warren studies the puzzle, overthinks it and gets it wrong, Drain’s dad would pay to rig the game for him to win for promo (and he’d still manage to mess it up).
    

• Q: How would Sesamoid react to walking in on Warren during a workout?

  • A: Piper would try to coach him even though she knows nothing workout wise or be trying to spot him, Rue would sit there and blush and be like “I have to leave-”, Griff is sitting on his back while he’s doing push ups, Quinn- “Ugh, I hope you’re going to take a shower.”
    

• Q: Is Clodagh sugar mommy material?

  • A: Technically yes, she does have money from her time as a musician, but wants people (Quinn) to learn on their own.

• Q: How would Regan and Drain handle children?

  • A: Regan thinks kids are cool as long as they aren’t going crazy. She would be patient with them. Drain would try to teach the kids how to be “cool”, he really wants the kids approval and would be a try-hard but the kids would see through it immediately and turn it on him or take advantage of him.

• Q: Can you give us more vampire details?

  • A: Things aren’t completely figured out yet, planning for different vampires to have different abilities. Very rare for a vampire to be able to do everything, they’d typically have more strength in a certain ability; mind influence, transformation, etc.

• Q: Do Drain’s ears move according to his emotions?

  • A: Yes, they do (perk up when excited, droop when sad, go back when frustrated)

• Q: If Sesamoid were camp counselors, how would that go?

  • A: Piper would be the best with the kids, though she would run them a bit ragged with a lot of activities, Rue would be overprotective and wouldn’t let the kids do anything fun out of fear of them getting hurt, sticking just to little art projects, Griff would take the kids on a hike and point out everything in nature, Warren teaches them woodworking and other survival skills, Quinn makes up merit badges to get the kids to do a bunch of things for him.

• Q: Build an esports team (LoL) with Sesamoid:

  • A: Piper would be soloing mid, Rue would be playing top or bot support- Sona, Warren playing whatever free guy he got because he’s not spending money on a game, Quinn would have all the characters unlocked because he wastes his money, probably paired up with Rue if Rue isn’t already with Warren, Griff is all over the place- Heimerdinger or Teemo.

• Q: What are Drain’s favorite video games?

  • A: Toxic PvP online games; Counterstrike, CoD Modern Warfare, first person shooters. Trying to rizz up girls on IMVU, on Omegle trying to get people who recognize him and once he finally gets to someone he tries to play it off like “you’re like the eighth person in a row, I can’t do anything on here” meanwhile he’s had to skip through a thousand people just to find someone.

• Q: Does Quinn know Drain’s real name?

  • A: Yes, a lot don’t but Quinn does. The rest of Sesamoid does not.

• Q: Fave Pokemon types for the gang?

  • A: Rue likes ghost types- cute but spooky, Warren likes ground types, Kira would get dragon types if not paired with Rue, Griff likes normal types or is Ash Ketchum coded and has a bit of everything if he likes them, Piper likes fairy types, Regan would like dragon types, Drain gets dark types because he’s an edgelord.

• Q: What happens if Griff gets more attention than Quinn?

  • A: It’s for the best. Quinn would be furious and silently muttering “I can’t replace him, I can’t replace him.”

• Q: What is the craziest thing Kira has eaten?

  • A: The budget lol

• Q: Has Quinn or the band asked Clodagh for advice about music?

  • A: Frequently, Quinn has a lot of respect for Clodagh. Though her advice being “you have to put in the time and effort” has Quinn trying to think of a way around that and being surprised when that doesn’t work. 

• Q: Any update on Patreon tier for OC’s making cameos in comic backgrounds?

  • A: Not 100% sure, comics have taken a back seat for the time being. Some contracts are drafted up but not solidified. Subject to change: a one time Patreon tier purchase ~$75 to have a cameo- you would not need to stay on this tier and staying on this tier will not get you cameos month after month. After a bit of time you would be able to sign up again.

• Q: Will there be more cameos of Dave, Ashley, and crew in the show like Adventricular?

  • A: For sure!

• Q: If there are transformations in the show, how will you portray them?

  • Ashley would love to show everything in gorey detail- but that is expensive. There will be a couple full transformations based on context and importance, a lot might be the shadow cut away i.e Kira’s transformation in the proof of concept.

• Q: While designing monsters, who was the one wanting to go all out and who was the one trying to pull it in? Either because of animation difficulty or gore level.

  • A: Dave wanted to go as all out as possible, with Ashley wanting to pull in the reigns and even then didn’t pull them in enough- because animating detailed monsters is difficult.

• Q: What are the education levels of the Far-Fetched characters?

  • A: Piper is a med student and has skipped a few grades, Warren has a degree in engineering, Rue tried college and it didn’t work out as she couldn’t handle it emotionally, Griff is unknown probably didn’t go to school and was probably homeschooled, Rue and Quinn went to earlier school years together but may have gone to different high schools, Quinn most likely didn’t go to college though with Clodagh saying “college doesn’t matter” it might have made Quinn go out of spite but only lasts for about two years and drops out. Drain was homeschooled, Ashley wants him to have been homeschooled for the whole time where Dave wants him to have been homeschooled until highschool so that he could have been bullied in school. Outside of Piper and Warren, all of this is subject to change!

• Q: How did you go about hiring VA’s?

  • A: Ashley always had J Michael in mind for Quinn, Dave always wanted Jacob for Griff. The other characters had to audition publicly, they like finding undiscovered talent!

• Q: If Quinn and Warren started getting along one day, how would Sesamoid react?

  • A: They would think they’ve been possessed. But Quinn and Warren don’t hate each other, they do care about and respect each other, just butt heads a lot and push each other to grow as people.

• Q: What is Drain’s second favorite food?

  • Energy drinks.

• Q: How do Warren and Griff feel about living with each other?

  • A: Griff thinks it’s great! Warren was a little annoyed but he kind of likes having a semi-roommate, takes him in for a shower and to eat a real meal once in a while.

• Q: Why does Griff live in the truck?

  • A: He’s just homeless, it is what it is. Griff kinda brought them Papa Swirl in a way so it’s almost like Warren and Quinn’s punishment to him making him stay in it. Griff has a lot of friends, just doesn’t want to burden anyone.

• Q: If you had to pick a crossover episode for Far-Fetched, what would it be?

  • Ashley would have loved Danny Phantom and wants Hatsune Miku, and Dave would want Family Matters to meet Urkle.

• Q: What Melanie Martinez song would Sesamoid cover or fit the vibe of any of the characters?

  • A: Dollhouse has been assigned to a character from Ashley.

• Q: What would happen if you installed a Flux Capacitor into Papa Swirl?

  • A: Papa Swirl wouldn’t go back or forward in time, he would hop dimensions and you’d never get back to your original one.

• Q: In universe, who writes the songs for Sesamoid?

  • It’s a bit of everyone, but Piper and Griff handle a lot of it with Quinn coming in and either telling them to fix something or taking it over and totally changing it.

• Q: Drainfamous canon when?

  • A: Drain is ‘’’’’’straight!!!!’’’’’, how could that happen?

• Q: Will we ever learn about Clodagh’s band and members?

  • Yes!

• Q: Anything interesting you can tell us about Warren and Piper’s friendship?

  • A: Not really, too spoilery. Piper enjoys teasing Warren like a sibling, and Warren gets overprotective which sometimes gets on Piper’s nerves.

• Q: Any transformers fans?

  • Warren would have been, maybe even Rue.

• Q: Which Sesamoid members go to the video store the most?

  • A: Rue would go a lot, Piper and Regan go for date nights, Drain visits often.

• Q: Aside from horror, what other genres would be the gang’s favorites?

  • Warren would like sappy romantic stuff a little, Piper, Griff, and Rue watch anime movies together, Drain would watch romcoms and cry about them, Quinn likes movies like Devil Wears Prada, movies with insufferable characters.

• Q: Anything you can say about Quinn and Rue’s childhood friendship?

  • A: They didn’t like each other at first because Quinn was a little shit. They then became good friends, Rue had a hand in how Quinn turned out along with Clodagh.

• Q: Does Drain mix all his material or does he work with ghost producers?

  • A: In real life, Paranoid DJ is doing the music and ChiChi is doing the singing so they do need Far-Fetched characters as a running theme in the show is Drain’s dad keeps pairing him up with pop idols to help with Drain’s popularity because he keeps complaining. Though Drain is capable of making his own music, it’s whether he chooses to or not.
