Really nice retrospective! I rewatched the Alien video recently (which I think is my favorite), and this retrospective made me think a bit about why. I believe the foreshadowing is a big part (like the “upcoming switch” you talk about here), it’s nice to become curious about what’s going to happen before you get it served. But I think the best thing about that video, which you talked about here but didn’t make a note out of, is that I think it’s really interesting to know which parts about the run are horrible haha. I think it’s nice to be in the runners brain for a bit and to know what’s hard and what’s not, it makes it a lot more interesting since I as a viewer can’t see that myself. I think you did that very well in the alien video, and this one would have been better if I could have gotten the feeling “thank god those guys didn’t stand in front of the door this time!!”!
