Speedrun Explained 54 (Update 1); Speedrun Explained 55 (Announcement)

The main video in production right now (#54) is and Any% run of Tony Hawk's Underground. I had the call with the runner a week or two back, and there's a LOT to this run, kinda like Super Mario Odyssey. I'm really getting into the nitty gritty of writing the script right now, but should hopefully have a quick turnaround on it and be done with the script in the next week or week and a half. The video itself should be out here on Patreon sometime in either late September, or at the very start of October! This game does have some pretty stellar tech names too that I cannot wait to say in the video.
The other video in production right now (#55) is a Scriptless speedrun of Half-Life! That's right, finally covering this game after it being one of my most requested for years! Not many people know this, but I originally intended to make a video covering this run around four years ago and reached out to a runner for it, but never heard back from them. So it's finally time to say "they probably aren't responding" and move forward with another runner. I've already contacted the runner for it and they're working on recording the run for the video now! There's apparently some new tech in the run and they were planning on starting to run the game again soon, so the timing couldn't be better. Looking forward to finally covering this run.
