Speedrun Explained 34/35: Update 1

Hey all! Been kinda quiet with the updates over Patreon, but that's not for a lack of work being done on this end, quite the opposite actually.

Since I released our SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED covering Dishonored 2, a lot has been going on. The first video after the Dishonored 2 that we worked on was the video covering the Season 1 SASO speedrun of Hitman (2016), and that video is actually 99% complete. Unfortunately it's been sitting at 99% complete for a month now due to the final stage of development being stalled for back-end things. As soon as it's cleared for release though, you'll all be the first to see it, since it's wholly your video as well since you all chose it.

I consider the Hitman (2016) vid to be number 34 in the SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED series since it was technically the 34th made on my end, while the 35th made is a video covering an Any% speedrun of Dark Souls II. This video was intended to be released next month in November, but got shifted up to Hitman (2016)'s spot due to the stalls on that vid. It all came together super quickly to meet a sponsor deadline, hence the no updates or even announcement on it, and why it kinda surprised dropped yesterday for you all. I intended to announce it for you this week since the Hitman (2016) vid was supposed to come out this week, which would have led nicely into the production updates on the next video, but like I said, things kind of came together at the last minute on it all.

So yeah, SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED 35 is out now, and SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED 34 will hopefully be here for you sooner rather than later. As for number 36, that one hasn't been ironed out exactly in terms of what it's covering. I have a run that I want to cover for it, but I haven't heard back from the necessary party's for it to happen. Once I do though, you'll be the first to know. Hopefully we know in the next week.
