Announcing the "200 Patron Special: Live Q&A" (+ some updates on upcoming things, please read)

Hey all, a couple things!

First off, we just passed 200 patrons, which honestly is just insane, never thought we'd get to this point and seems like we were at 150 like two weeks ago (it was more like 3 months, but still). Thank you all, seriously. For passing the milestone, we have a couple things coming up! First is the Q&A livestream.

The date for the stream is this upcoming Tuesday, August 10th. The stream will start at around 6PM CST. The stream will go for a max of around 90 minutes, but will likely be around 60 minutes. If you're not able to watch live, the link will still be available for you to view the VOD.

If you aren't able to make it to the stream or have any questions you'd like to ask in advance so that they'll for sure be answered, leave them as a comment on this post. Feel free to leave as many as you want. You will also be able to ask questions live in chat.

In addition to the livestream, we have two other things coming. First is Fan-Fiction Friday which I'll hopefully have ready a week from tomorrow.

The big thing though is you all get to decide what speedrun will be covered in an upcoming video! I'll be posting a separate post for suggestions in a couple days and have some clear guidelines on what runs will be allowed and not allowed (I'm not covering a three hours speedrun, sorry if you got your hopes up).

Right now, the two main criteria that I can think of that I'll for sure implement is a length limit and that it has to be a category that already exists. Due to time constraints, I won't be able to route and learn a new category in the Fallouts and stuff like that. Oh and also, goes without saying, but it has to be a run that hasn't been covered on the channel before.

Feel free to start browsing speedrun.com for potential runs you'd want to submit. I'll allow each person to submit two runs that will be added to the poll. Try to find runs that are ideally under an hour, but I'll probably be a bit more lenient and say that 75 minutes will be the hard cut-off for length.

And again, I'll be making a post in a couple days where you can submit runs to be added to a poll that you will all vote on then.

Cheers!

Would you consider doing a crossover with TriangleCity who does fallout:NV cut content? mostly because that and he sounds identical to you. no seriously. identical.

Sorry if you've been asked this before but Do you have any tips for someone who would love to get into streaming? I come from a country where there isn't much of a streaming or speed-running community and I feel the time of which I stream wouldn't find myself many international audiences. How do I go about growing as a streamer then/any tips to grow? Congrats on the 200 patrons and all the best in reaching your next milestone! Love your content and I hope you don't stop making them and don't stop being you. :)

Have you ever thought about branching out into any other type of content besides speedrunning? Of course I love the speedruns, but I also really enjoyed your discussion of landfill management from the first Q&A. You've got a great way of explaining things, regardless of the topic. Much love and thanks for all the great vids!

I'm in Europe so I probably won't be around to watch - so real entry-level question: what got you into speedrunning?
