SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED 15: Production Update 1

TL;DR at the bottom.

The 15th speedrun explained video is in production, with a tentative public release date of November 23rd. The run being discussed in the video will be an Any% run of Untitled Goose Game.

Untitled Goose Game is a pretty hilarious run due to how absurd the game is, and how hilariously short the any% run is. I'm super excited to make the video for this run, especially considering how close it is to the game's release. This will be the closest to a game's release that we're going to have a video covering a run of it. Although this feat might be one-upped by the game we do next...

Right now we're still in the scripting stages of the video, but it's coming along quickly and I expect the video to be wrapped up in around one week's time. Both myself and the runner I'm working with are super excited for the video.

Also, I've setup a multi-video deal with a sponsor for the next three videos. This of course won't affect anyone reading this because you all have access to sponsor-free versions of the videos, but it does provide a bit more financial security. I have one video that I've been wanting to make for about two years now that has absolutely nothing to do with speedrunning, but is about a topic I want to vent about.

The topic at hand is a nitpick I've had with a story beat in a video game that I first played over a decade ago. I think I might try to work on this video on the side after I finish up the next video, and release it sometime in the future on a weekend between the three week window I give myself for each speedrun explained. Just want to try out a different kind of video to have a bit more creative freedom on something since the past few months have been exclusively focusing on SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED videos. I'll keep you guys updated as that video moves along though.
