Chapter 2 Progress Update. Again.
Added 2020-07-31 18:05:31 +0000 UTCHey everybody. If you've been on my discord you're already aware that I did end up having to split the chapter in 2 due to its sheer size. I really would have liked to get the entire chapter out this month, but it's not complete and I'd rather have you guys get something to play sooner rather than later so I'm releasing the first half of the chapter. The first half should be going out to Sultan tier patrons in the next few days. I anticipate maybe 3 days tops. Right now all the scene setups are done and I'm just leaving my computer on for a few days to render. The second they're done and I've done a little post work on them, they're going in the game. It'll be the usual schedule where I release to Sultan tier, then Warrior tier a few days later, followed by all other tiers a week after Sultan is released. If I'm able to add anything new during that week before general release, I will too.
Don't worry about thinking the split chapter will be small though. It's already sitting at around 1,200 renders in just the first half. It also cuts off where it's logical to do so, so don't expect to just have it end in the middle of a sentence or sequence. I personally feel like it feels like a chapter in itself.
Thanks again for being so patient with me guys. I know I sound like a broken record with my delays and everything, but I am a one person show here so naturally I do run into little wrinkles every once in a while.
The second half of the chapter is also on schedule to release as soon as I'm done and if luck's on my side I'll be able to get it out in August as well. (Though we all know how my schedule slips). Thanks again for being great patrons guys. I'm eager for you to play this labor of love!

Wow, this game grew into something really big. I've tried it a while ago, the very first version and didn't find much in it, but now the story really caught me. The humor and the way you present the story is soooo well done! It looks so deep and realistic, like a well written book. And I love the amount of sexual diversity you've put in it, as I like playing bi-character. My favorite character so far is that evil Cyrus, btw. I hope there'll be a way to 'romance' him somehow (new sultan, why not?)) :D Just love seeing some handsome powerful guys being tamed ;) (Btw, what Daz model are you using for Cyrus?) About renders - the scenes and poses are nicely done. Mostly rendered well enough, some with a visible noise though. But many have a strange brightness/contrast/gamma. Like, too dark or contrast. I'd recommend to remap the colors for the existing pictures, if you saved them lossless. Also, be sure to store them in .webp inside the game (RenPy supports it), so you can make the game file smaller and retain the quality. I also made a tool that allows to splits difference from a similar looking images, that way a new scene image can be presented as an the old one + alpha blended object/diff, which usually take much space when saved separately. Let me know if you want to give it a try (I haven't' published it anywhere yet).

I've been working on it for a day with little sleep, but I'm entering the end phase now. I have around 3 scene left to check, then I'm gonna upload it and send out links.
