Exiles Chapter 1-a 0.1
Added 2020-02-08 02:42:45 +0000 UTCI'm proud to present the first half of chapter 1 of Exiles my first game completely free to the public! The other half of the chapter will be published in the next few weeks and will also be free. I've spent a decent amount of time learning how to build this thing, but I am still learning. Also I have no idea how I plan on labeling version numbers! I hope you all enjoy what I've done so far. Here's to many more chapters! (Note, the Mac version hasn't been tested as I have no access to a Mac, let alone testers.)

The genders and sexual preferences of some of these "flings" will be up for voting by patrons." If all the side characters that get a poll get voted men, then yes it does mean exactly that. The second one side takes a lead in patreons the side characters and polls will reflect that. Clearly you aren't thinking this though. And just because it wont happen soon doesn't mean its nothing to worry about. You seem to be blowing a actual issue off like its nothing and wont SERIOUSLY affect the direction of the game.

Also the people with a direct hand in influencing character creations people pledging $100 so I wouldn't expect to see anything like that anytime soon.

In fact its even more worrying that a few have a direct hand in creating content. Whats stopping all the side characters, and all the poll characters from becoming men? You may think it isnt a gay game now, but if limits arent set it will become one. Oh yeah and you misunderstood me, what was disgusting wasn't because it was a gay game, but the fact that one part of the games community managed to get the creator to turn their back on everyone else. If you can't see anything wrong with that then I can guarantee this will be a repeat of that.

2020-02-09 02:00:22 +0000 UTCIt's not really defined as anything. Your MC can be straight, gay or something in between and I plan on giving people options for all three. I want to have roughly equal amounts for whatever anybody's interested in. You'll be perfectly capable of playing through the whole thing completely straight and not feel like you're missing out on content. There will be a good mix of optional sexual encounters of every gender. As for the polls, those are largely for fetish content rather than characters, though I will take into consideration what my community of patrons have to say. Only the top tier patrons of which there are a limited number will have a direct hand in crafting a character though. Have you tried the version I uploaded so far? It should assuage your fears as there are two straight encounters including pretty much the first scene in the game. There are clear warnings about any content before you engage in it. All this being said, I wouldn't consider a gay only game to be disgusting, nor will I disparage any part of this community for liking or wanting gay content. My goal with this game isn't to create a gay game or a straight game, but a story that's entertaining that happens to include sexual encounters across the spectrum so a lot of different people can enjoy it.

I think it is pretty clear, that - considering the sexual content - you are going to give different options for players.MC is clearly bisexual and able to have fun with everybody if he wants. This is surely the best. Please, keep it like this, give him a lot of hot moments and keep his humours up :-) Less stereotypes, more different personalities, the better! 2020-02-08 11:46:02 +0000 UTCI really think you need to define what this game is more. Is it a 50/50 gay game? Is is primarily gay? Is it a straight game with some gay options (Please this one). Also polls are a terrible idea when it comes to choosing gender. Not to recently I saw a game similar to this, setting and content, get hijacked by the gay community and they managed to convince the dev to make it a gay only game. That shit was disgusting. Really hope to not see a repeat of that here, but I see it happening.
