Dappled sun shines through the cherry blossom leaves and reflects from the pond. Koi frolic, birds sing the taste of spring is in the air. Beauty and relaxation, it is a time to celebrate. Something gnaws at the edge of the mind. Was it spring this morning? What is that odour under the scent of the flowers? For a moment the tranquil beaty flickers away showing a murky swamp. Then back to the beautiful view. What sorcery is this? Devils, hags or cursed spirits? Someone screams, whether in pain or pleasure, it is hard to tell. Bloody illusions.
