Raging torrents cascade down the cliff face, spraying violently off boulders lining the falls and incongruously plummeting into the waters below with barely a ripple. With not even a rivulet trickling away, the nature of pool is a mystery. The answers to this mystery are fiercely guarded by the dragon resident of the pool. While the wyrm does not have an infamous reputation, wise folk give the falls a wide berth. That said, the world if full of fools and there is always another group of heroes seeking to test their mettle against the legendary beast. The final resting place of these heroes is less mysterious than the nature of the pool.
