A sombre procession, lead by the Daimyo, followed by grieving kin approaches the site of the samurai's final resting place. Clad in armour atop a bier adorned with carvings of the warrior's deeds not even death has diminished the hero's aura.

Amidst the reverently kneeling crowd honouring the fallen lurk the very people responsible for the murder, solemn faces masking gloating triumph. This funeral is unlikely to be the last funeral of the season.
