New Project Teaser - Thirteen Pillars

And here it is. The new thing I've been working on.

I've been thinking about writing a Worm fanfic for a while now because most of what I read currently is Worm fanfics. My brain finally decided to make me start on something. It took a while to get the beginning sorted out properly but I'm pretty happy with where it landed.

If you want to get straight to it, there's a link to a Google Doc with the first four chapters at the bottom, as well as a PDF download. I recommend not reading the first chapter while eating if you have a weak stomach. It's pretty brutal.

If you don't know anything about Worm, I recommend checking out the original story by Wildbow, first. Here's a link for that: Parahumans 

For those that are familiar with the fandom, and particularly with other Worm fanfics, the main inspirations for this project were Taylor Varga, Constellations, and Seek. All wonderful stories with their own interesting tidbits. I'll leave it to you if you want to check them out.

The current working title is Thirteen Pillars. I'm pretty confident that one will stay unless someone has a better idea. Here's a short synopsis:

In between worlds is a subliminal space. Though it's not really a space since dimensions are weird, there. It's a place for souls to move in between lives. And in this fabric is a place where souls can shed what they don't want to bring with them. Sin, Evil, Shame, Horror, and whatever else one might want to leave behind before moving on. That place is called Hell. And it's ruled by the Thirteen Pillars and their Queen, Lady Black.

When Taylor got shoved into the locker, she was supposed to become a parahuman. She was supposed to control insects and arachnids and struggle through a life of crime even though she wanted to be a Hero. But this time, she finds herself in Hell, standing before Lady Black and the first Pillar. They make an offer she can't refuse. Literally. And when she gets back to Brockton Bay, a city many call worse than Hell, nothing will be like it was supposed to.

That's it. The story will be a slow-ish pace and written when I feel like it. I'm mostly putting this up now because you guys deserve to see what I've worked on instead of Owl. I hope this is enjoyable, at least. I got four more chapters that need to be edited and will go up sometime next month. Then we'll see when I have more. Content past the first eight chapters will be restricted to 5€+ tiers.
