Stuff to talk about - Please read!

Hey guys!

Rather than doing this after my exams, I want to talk about things right now. I am seeing my bank account steadily approaching zero. It's not nice. I have started looking into part-time jobs. I can go about half a year with what I have right now if Patreon support stays at 150-200€ per month. I want to use that time to hopefully stabilize my situation.

Now, here's the important part: I thought about taking a break from Owl after the next volume since there will be a good cutting point. I will NOT do that. I will also guarantee at least two chapters per week, no matter how much I get swamped with uni and work. Even just these two weeks of three chapters made my fingers start to twitch. I don't think I can ever stop writing unless someone cuts off my hands. And even then, there's dictation software. In lieu of that, I have activated yearly subscription for a 10% discount! Now, I have two things in mind right now that concern you, my readers. The first is editing the first two volumes into a proper book and releasing it. That might go up on Kindle unlimited for a while. I heard it's really good for making money. If that happens, I likely won't be able to give you access to a PDF/EPUB version on here. I'm thinking to put it up on Patreon anyway for a few weeks before hitting KU but that depends on the time-frame and my actual need for money. I plan to have it ready by the one year anniversary of this story, which is May 26th or June 2nd, depending if I go with when I started writing or RR chapter 1.

The second thing is a little more immediate. Would you pay more for more chapters? I am thinking to bring the 10€ tier to 20 or 25 ahead. The problem here is the difference is not bigger than from none to 15 for the 5€ tier. That's something I should have thought about before increasing chapters for that. Now, how annoying would it be for you guys to have the 5€ tier go back down to 10 ahead? I realize that it would probably feel bad to get less chapters for a month than RR, which is why I'm asking what you think. Please vote in the poll below to let me know what you feel. I will totally align with your wishes, here. Any changes would be starting next month or in April, properly announced, of course. That said, the 10€ tier will get more chapters ahead whenever I have some. It might simply take some time to reach a number you find worth the additional cost.

Next point: Exams. They are always on a chapter-post-day. I may have the chapters of those days delayed or not, I'm not sure yet how exhausting it will be. Tomorrow I will start reviewing stuff and likely be bored a lot. Still, I want to succeed so I'm pushing through!

Now, for the last point! I adjusted the goals. Rather than extra chapters ahead, I'm planning to do a Patreon-only side story for a character of your choice, if and when I hit 500€ per month. I'm also going to start commissioning art, including a proper banner and cover, in such a case. For the second goal after that, I have no idea. It's mostly just there right now... If I ever get close to that amount of support, I'll think of something.
