Announcement - Plans for September

Hey everyone!

I got some stuff to talk about that would be a bit much for an author's note so I am making this separate post.

First of all, a big thank you to everyone supporting me, the ones still here just as much as the newcomers! It really motivates me to see everyone enjoying the story.

Now, before anyone panics, Owlnother World will continue as was. Four chapters a week, for now. I hope to drop two bonus chapters within the first week of posting to get to the 10 ahead milestone. After that I want to build up a bit of a backlog, just in case. If I have a ton extra I might drop a bunch of bonus chapters near the end.

That said, I am a bit bummed by the lack of continued growth on RR since the story went off trending (rising stars now, I guess), so I want to try some things to draw in more readers. 

For me, that means starting to work out the typos pointed out under every chapter. I will spend half an hour a day on that, starting tomorrow at the latest. No idea when I will catch up to Patreon releases but I hope it will be two weeks at most. I also want to try advertising some on several Discord servers of novels I am following and maybe some subreddits or forums. If you have any place you frequent online with people you think might enjoy this story, feel free to tell me about it. There is also me looking at my Patreon banner and thinking it's kind of meh. Maybe I will find the time to improve or rework it. That is kind of my last priority right now though.

For you guys, I would like to ask shamelessly for reviews and ratings on RR, though as my patrons, I believe most of you have already rated at least. I am going to ask the RR folk separately.

Now, that is it about Owl for today. There is another thing to talk about. In my infinite wisdom, I decided not to work on my new story during August and instead focus on studying. Yes, I have a new story idea I want to write. This is just a heads up as to why I might not get seven chapters of Owl done every week. I want to get some work done on the new thing. That said, it is in its infancy and I want to plan ahead more as well as get a larger backlog done before starting to post. I expect to have a teaser ready by November at the earliest. Unless I throw it into the wind and start something different. Who can say where the road goes?

Maybe you can guess what the new thing will be. It was inspired by one of my favourite RR story.

Now, I believe that's it for today. I don't think these posts will become a regular occurrence, but who knows? I will talk about major changes to schedule before the month ends if anything comes up. Exams are done for now and went meh. I am pretty sure I passed two and failed one. Next ones are coming up early next year, probably starting late January. Though I plan to be better prepared and actually study a bit during the semester and not start a week before.

I have some family stuff later today but for now I'm gonna get to writing. Hopefully I can get a double out on Monday right away.
