April ‘24 Update

Hey folks! Continuing to chug along on all fronts. Well, not all fronts–remember the top secret project that I mentioned was in its early stages last month? That project died an untimely death. But don’t mourn for too long, that just means there are fewer targets for my twirling, twirling energies, which presumably means my other projects will get more attention. But that’s just a hypothesis. 

Candy County is being outlined, written and illustrated (peep the final cover). For a timing perspective, I am aiming for a Kickstarter in October 2025, so it is still a far way off. All my projects are slow burns. Maybe I will release drafts of hex descriptions on here as I go along, but they will be very much subject to change since I’d be posting them both unedited and without the benefit of changes as I write other parts (which is typical–my writing process is nonlinear).

I have a Willy Wonka mini-dungeon that I wrote with some friends. It is just a silly, little thing, but I will share that once it is available.

Not a ton of movement on the Prismatic Wasteland rules this past month, other than I’m starting to run some games using bits and pieces of the rules. A few of you even got to experience that with the Vecna game I’m running in the Prismatic Wasteland server! (A play report for that will post on Monday morning.)

For the Aspiring Tycoons among you, I have reached out individually for blogpost suggestions, since you now have the power to direct my energies (in about 2,000 word at a time chunks). 

That’s the long and short of it. The next few months are blessedly going to be peppered with vacations, weddings, and other diversions, but the year is shaping out to be not unproductive. Thanks again for another month of support.
