最近の話

少しの間投稿をお休みさせていただいていました。リフレッシュ休暇で海外に行っていました。

投稿休んだら当然少なからず支援は減ることを覚悟して休んだのですが、実際はほとんど減りませんでした。本当にありがたいことです。うまく表現できませんが、なんというかいい意味でプレッシャーをいただけています。期待されているんだなという感じもしますし、このまま投稿しない状態ではいられないという焦りもいい意味で感じました。継続してくださっている皆さま、本当にありがとうございます。休みで途切れても投稿が続いているのは皆様のおかげです。

今回、有意義な休みを過ごす唯一の方法は有意義な休みを過ごさないこと、みたいなことを実践したら結構効きました。わざわざ海外行って、ごろごろ本読んだりもして過ごしてました。こんなにリフレッシュできた休みは久々だったので、意識的に休みに有意義じゃないかもしれないことするのおすすめです。

しばらくAIイラストから離れて、帰国後改めて見るとすごくいいイラストが埋もれるようにちらほらあることに気づかされます。昔のやつの高解像度版、1枚だけですが一番下に貼っておきますね。

勘を取り戻せるように来月にかけてどんどん作っていきます。「数撃ちゃ当たる」って言葉自体にはあんまりポジティブなイメージないかもしれませんが、個人的にはいろんなことに関して試行回数増やすの大事だと思ってます。写真だと1000枚撮って1枚当たりがあればいいと思って撮ってるので、AIイラストは1万枚か10万枚に1枚当たりが出せればと思っています。

継続特典増量の話

継続特典で皆様にお送りしているイラストにも、たまーに投稿してるイラストよりいいものがあったりします。正直継続特典で終わらせるのはもったいないと思ってしまうくらい。

継続特典は他に投稿したり販売する予定はありませんし、基本的にこの世界で私とあなたしか持っていないものなのでそのあたりも含めて価値を感じていただけたら嬉しいです。

継続特典を投稿形式で提供するのも考えたのですが、「今支援しているあなたしか見れない」みたいなものを大事にしたい、というか投稿しない間も継続して支援続けてくれる方などに対して提供したいものだなと思ったので、若干手間はかかるけどやっぱり個別にメッセージでお送りします。

気がついたらタイミングがずれて1ヶ月分継続特典が遅れているので、今月は増量して2ヶ月分送ります。

キャラ指定の継続特典はできる限りシンプルな作りにしたかったので、応募フォームもシンプルにしました。

一方でこれまで継続特典の申し込みの際に書いて頂いていたリクエストが投稿のヒントになっていたり、ありがたいことに励ましのメッセージを頂いていたりしていたので、そういったフォームはリクエストフォームとして不定期でやってみます。全てに応えられるわけではないというか、気が向いたらやる感じにはさせてください。

今までは投稿が最優先で空いた時間で継続特典を作っていましたが、毎日投稿ではなくなったので、どんどん作って継続特典送っていきます。投稿も、毎日投稿とはいかないと思いますが休んだ分ペースを上げていきます。

・旅ブログ投稿すると言っておきながら全然進んでません。すみません。書いてみると意外と難しい。ハードル下げてしょぼいブログをそのうち投稿します。

・megaの容量逼迫により3月の投稿を一時的に削除してしまいましたが、整理してまたそのうち上げます！支援金使わせていただくにしてもちゃんと有効に使いたいので…。

・季節に合わせてハロウィン風とかやりたいですね。夏も本当はやりたいモチーフいっぱいあったはずなの気がついたら終わってしまってました。

I took a short break from posting for a while and went abroad for a refreshing vacation. I was prepared for a natural decrease in support during my absence, but to my gratitude, it hardly diminished. I can't quite express how thankful I am. It feels like a positive form of pressure, a sense of being expected. I felt an urgency in a good way, realizing I can't just keep not posting. To everyone who has continued their support, even during my breaks, I deeply thank you. It's because of you that I can keep posting.

On this break, I learned that sometimes the most meaningful vacation is the one where you do seemingly meaningless things. I simply lounged around, reading books overseas. It's been a while since I had such a refreshing break, so I highly recommend taking time off without any particular agenda.

Being away from my AI illustrations for a bit and revisiting them upon return made me realize how many great pieces were getting overlooked. I've attached a high-resolution version of one of my older works at the bottom. To regain my intuition, I'll be producing a lot more in the coming month. The phrase "throw enough at the wall and something will stick" might not sound very positive, but I personally believe it's important to increase the number of trials in many things. When it comes to photography, if I can get one great shot out of 1000, I'm happy. With AI illustrations, I aim to have one hit in every 10,000 or 100,000.

Continued Benefits Increase:

Sometimes, the illustrations I send as ongoing benefits to supporters are better than the ones I post occasionally. Honestly, it feels like a waste to just limit them to continued benefits. These benefits are exclusive, and in most cases, only you and I possess them. I hope you find value in that exclusivity. I considered providing these benefits in a posting format, but I wanted to keep them as something special for supporters, especially those who continue to support even when I'm not posting. It might be a bit cumbersome, but I'll continue to send them individually via messages.

I realized I've fallen behind and missed a month, so I'll send double the benefits this month.

For character-specific benefits, I wanted to keep it simple, so I made the request form straightforward. However, I've been getting hints for my posts from the requests and receiving motivating messages, so I'll occasionally do a separate request form. I can't promise to fulfill all requests, but I'll tackle them as and when I feel inclined.

Previously, posting was my top priority, and I created ongoing benefits in my spare time. Since I won't be posting daily anymore, I'll be focusing on creating and sending out the benefits. As for posts, I might not be able to maintain a daily schedule, but I'll pick up the pace.

Other Updates:

- I mentioned I'd be posting a travel blog, but it hasn't progressed much. I'm sorry. It's harder than I thought. I'll lower the bar and post a simple blog soon.

- Due to storage limits on Mega, I temporarily deleted posts from March, but I'll organize and re-upload them soon. Even if I use the support funds, I want to use them effectively.

- I'd love to do something Halloween-themed. I had many motifs I wanted to try for summer, but before I knew it, summer had passed.
