Informal Sunday Update #2
Added 2025-03-16 13:00:12 +0000 UTCSo, there I was writing a chapter when I noticed that Volume 2 is currently sitting at 148k words, and we've still got a few chapters to go at the minimum before we clear the rest of Tier-6, putting the final word count around 180k words give or take(at minimum). Now, volume 2 was MEANT to span tiers 6-8, but at current rate, that would likely span well over 450+ words for a single volume.
Thus, I wanted to see the thoughts of those who are actually paying for early content. I can either shorten tier 7 and 8 so that volume 2 stays under 250-300k words, OR I can officially split them so each tier gets its own dedicated volume. Future tiers WILL be condensed regardless as I'm planning for the story (currently) to go to around tier 40, so this vote will help shape my opinion on how long the series as whole will take to write. If I condense early volumes to span 2-3 tiers, we're talking cutting the early tiers in half (word count wise)
This vote is NOT final say I should mention, but I wanted to at least get an idea of how some of my most dedicated readers felt on the matter.
That aside, I don't really have much else that's directly important. One thing I am looking to do is start paying for ads on RR, as I've noticed what seems suspiciously like I'm getting score-bombed, so I wanted to attempt to counter act that by directly reaching more people. Not really relevant to you guys, other then I hope it can help bring in more readers both on RR and here, but hey, the point of this is that it's an informal update, so enjoy my random thoughts and rambles.
