I believe it is time we made this happen.
Added 2022-01-07 10:16:53 +0000 UTCA new PC needs to be built so I can either work on two separate projects (One in DAZ like FOM, the other in Octane, like SHRiNK) or better yet, work on the same exact project with the additional power of the secondary PC.
However, as you can see for yourselves, the prices here are a TAD brutal.
So, this is a long term plan now. Hopes are that I can build this before the end of the year with a better GPU. Never even efin heard of Gainward. Maybe, once.... I think I read the name on some European page when browsing for 3090's back when they first came out.
Still, it sounds like a poor mans 3090, and I doubt they can compare to the quality of what I am used to. Asus Tuf, for example. Especially since I run these things 16 hours a day.
PS: I like the very top build better, I'd swap the 5900X for the 5950X and add the 1000W PSU.

Anyhow. Everything rests on FOM and its success, or failure. So, no pressure, or anything. But, if it succeeds, I'll finally start making enough to be able to put something aside so I can build a little render farm over time.
