I have some bad news. But nothing to panic and run around naked over.
Added 2021-10-10 15:20:01 +0000 UTCI had forgotten that I was registered for windows insider. Long story short!
My PC had downloaded windows 11 and installed it while I was still waking up and having coffee.
Though Windows 11 itself is okay, it rearranged my drive letters and somehow fracked my G drive (where I stored Shrink the project) along with the backup. I don't know why only those two drives were targeted. All I know is they were/are both Kingstone 256GB SSD(s) they turned RAW if you know what that means. They are now useless and empty.
Otherwise, google it up. I don't have time to go into more detail. What I do know is, that this was a great gift for my Birthday tomorrow!
I get to spend it rebuilding my database and figuring out a way to get everything I lost back.
I don't think there is anything major to worry about here, tbh. Worst case scenario I will use the latest build from my own google drive and build from that.
It is however going to take me some time. I'm sorry, about this. I don't know why, but ever since I moved from Canada, it has been one disaster after another. It's as if I was cursed.
The backup of the project I did have, is from 0.4.1. I suppose I'll start with that one, and add the scripts that have changed since.
Sigh. I just want to work without having to deal with random sh*t every other week.
The constant power outages will likely destroy my system entirely. (Still looking for a UPS)
I am going to start backing up my projects to external drives or online more often now, I suppose. Gotta get used to this 3rd world life.
I'll update you on the progress of this new disaster as soon as I have managed to rebuild The Shrink.

It was the first thing I tried. And that cost me money for nothing. In the end, it was all bits and pieces. Going "RAW" screwed them both up.
