2021-06-10 12:09:52 +0000 UTCFarewell Shinsengumi is my favourite arc in the Gintama anime. I like the last arc even more but the manga is better for that one as the anime skipped some stuff. Sasaki Isaburo definitely became one my favourite characters in Gintama and as a whole after this arc. His backstory and his overall role in this arc is just phenomenal! Also really love Kondo, Hijikata and Nobume's role in this arc. And it also has one of the best villain introductions with Utsuro (his music is epic and the way he takes on all of our strongest guys easily is insane). Utsuro is also a really amazing villain so look forward to learning more about him
