Housesitting v0.9.8

Hello everyone, the update is here, adding four new scenes (1 diary, 4 regular) and rewriting some old scenes, including the conversation with the landlady.

In this update, some time is starting to get skipped between scenes, and the story is going to start moving a little faster. You've been introduced to the characters and their daily life, and if I keep going as I have been, it'll start to get boring.

Of course, I'll still show parts of their daily life, especially surrounding scenes where important things happen, and I'll also try my best to show the changes they're going through and how it impacts their lives.

The diary scene focuses on the girl's emotions and her struggle with them. I hope to showcase a so far unnoticed/recognized gradual shift in her thoughts regarding the relationship between her and the boy.

"SCENE01" is pretty dialogue-heavy and provides a bit of downtime, focusing on having the boy and girl talk about the previous night.

"SCENE02" is about a gradual build in excitement in preparation for the next scene. I hope that I conveyed her character correctly, and that the differences between the characters are noticeable in the way they act and talk. Again, a pretty dialogue-heavy scene, so it wasn't easy for me to write.

"SCENE03 & SCENE04" is a big one (note: I decided to split this up after writing this dev blog), and it was one of the toughest for me to write so far. Because of the sex scene, as well as the essay and the conversation between the boy and girl. This scene required a lot, and I truly mean a lot of editing, and I'm still not entirely happy with it.

I'm not going to rehash all my musing about this scene here, so if you're interested in my thoughts on it, I encourage you to check out the individual post on it.

In general, I just hope that the dialogue is good enough and that I managed to convey the excitement of a new relationship correctly. And that the summarizing of the essay is interesting enough to not bore, and that the conversation afterward is emotional enough and believable.

Apart from these new scenes, I've also gone through all of the second day, changing and improving some of the dialogue, punctuation, etc. I plan to keep doing this over time because I struggle with dialogue as mentioned before, and every so often, I get some inspiration to improve a section of it.

The next update, which will add the entirety of the ninth day, and complete v0.10.0, should come around the end of March. If time permits, I'll also try to retouch scenes belonging to DAY03.
