Added 2021-08-23 16:16:13 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I hope you had a nice time this summer, and are doing well. I had meant to post this scene before I went on my holidays, but more on that later.
My holidays were a bit longer than I had planned, family asked me if I wanted to stay a while longer, and I had no real reason to decline since I didn't have any engagements at home.
In this scene, the boy tells the girl about the date. I was nearly finished with this scene a while ago, before my holidays, but it was too long and detailed, and it felt too much like a recap of something you had just read about.
So, after I came back, I read through the prior scenes and this new scene, and changed up most of the dialogue, severely trimming things, and in my opinion, improving the flow.
Of course, I'm still not entirely happy with it, and it needs more editing before the release of the next update, but for now I'm happy with it.
I'm looking forward to the next scene, it's going to be a fun one, and I've also already worked a little on the ending of the next scene, since I had gotten some inspiration for that part, and the next scene will also be the last scene of the update.
I'm not sure if I'll be posting the next scene individually once it's done, or wait to post the update itself. The update itself will take a bit more time after the final scene is written, because I haven't edited the scenes for the update as much as I usually do, and there's some things I still need to touch up on.
I hope you will all enjoy the rest of the summer (at least, what's left of it), and I hope to see you again soon when either the next scene is done, or I release the update.
