Added 2021-01-30 14:02:44 +0000 UTCThe update is finally here, adding four new scenes, adding more than 7500 words. I hope it was worth the wait. To all the patrons that stuck around despite that, I thank you a lot! And for those who didn't, I hope you will press the "follow" button, so you can keep following the story, I don't do it for the money as said before.
This update is mainly about the date with Sarah, and Sarah in general. We get a glimpse of her family, I hope to show some characteristics of the mother in the daughter, to show how her being raised has influenced her and the contrast with our protagonist, and his reaction to that.
Writing the date was pretty hard as expected, it's a lot of dialogue, and I haven't gone on a 'first date' myself in a while. I had to try my damnedest to recall those sensations unique to it, and write it down. I do hope I managed to make things interesting, let me know.
The restaurant scene ends on a bit of a sour note, our protagonist is afraid that he might have messed things up at the end. I hope to have accurately portrayed his anxiety over it, and that you like how it was resolved.
The next update will focus on the evening spend at home; the girl's reaction to the date, them talking about it, and other things. Look forward to it :)
