It kept growing and growing, so instead of ending the update with this scene, I have decided to make another scene before releasing the update. I've already written about 800 words for the next scene, and I hope to have some free time again soon to keep working on it.
In this scene we meet Sarah's parents, and the date begins. I tried to accurately capture the "first date nerves", in their dialogue and the way they act. It's been a while since I went on a first date myself, so it's kind of hard, especially since I struggle with dialogue in general.
Still, I'm pretty happy with it. I hope I captured the character of Sarah's mother well, in the way that she acts very caring and motherly, to our protagonist as well.
I also hope that some characteristics Sarah has can be seen to be coming from her mother; her confident and outgoing nature, liking to tease people, etc.
In any case, I hope you will enjoy what I have written, and ask for a little more patience as I finish writing the content for the next update. I really am working as fast as I can, I simply do not have a lot of free time.
I also still need to edit the scenes before the update can be released, since these individual scenes are little rougher and have not been given their usual polish.
