In terms of "increasing engagement" and other algorithm bollocks, short-form media seems to be a decent way of going about it (tiktok, reels, shorts) and at least YouTube are monetising shorts now as well.

FACT: Cat in the Cage video has made an estimated £3.92 in revenue, this is the most I've ever earned.

Anyway, I decided to plan on doing these little bite-sized videos where I try to summarise a movie in under a minute - one of these was Mutant Hunt which is one of my favourite movies of all time. So I was writing it and like huh, I should do a full video on this! And here we are today.

Full Moon uploaded the whole thing to their YouTube Channel (linked) but you'll have to watch it at 1.25x speed because they fucked it. it's only 77 minutes and it's a corker. I also couldn't find the perfect t-shirt so I spent several hours making my own which has gone off to be printed. Once that's here I can film it and get it edited, job done! Dunno when it'll be but with any luck I'll be doing regular tiny vids and putting them on channels to keep you occupied.
