I totally agree with you about the emotions I felt as I first heard this. I had tears to hear how beautiful their voices were in this, because watching Last Evaluation I knew how good they could be! YG himself said, when he spoiled the title in the one announcement video, said he didn't think YG Entertainment had ever done a song like this before. And yes, the hate Batter Up got was over the top ridiculous. Not hate toward the girls, but to YG. I really don't know what they were expecting, and frankly, I just think they were looking for something to complain about. It was a very good debut, in my opinion. Yes music is subjective, but really...no need for the overly negative opinions.
