SUP MY 2024 PATREON CREW?!🏴‍☠️ Updates & onward.

Long time, no post/talk.🥲 Firstly, I hope everyones' end-of-2023 and beginning-of-2024 was fun and relaxing. Now that all of my out-of-state family have flown back home making me free from road trips back to back, I am more than ready to make a REAL comeback on both YouTube and Patreon. Before I post my usual upcoming Patreon schedule, I'd like to chit-chat about what's been going on in my life (hence the photo) along with some changes and additions I will be making here.

🦜 MOVING: as some of y'all are aware of, I've shared the fact that I will be moving out soon into a smaller place. And BOY OH BOY, THE DRAMA THAT HAS BEEN!!! The past 3 weeks, I've been dealing with neighbor drama. To make a long story short, they have been reporting us (my partner and I) to our community club to tattletale to HOA for our renovation, which was super unnecessary considering the fact that we are following the CC&R with our current and ongoing project. They based everything on their own assumptions and gossiping amongst each other versus respectfully asking us what we were doing (which is only interior work, the papers they wanted us to submit was for exterior changes). It got to the point where I was threatened with papers to be sued. I got with a lawyer for their professional advice and luckily, the storm has come to a calm when it comes to the damn nosy neighbors. Not sure if the drama is "done", but the good news out of that annoyingness is the fact that our long-term post-Hurricane Harvey damage is officially fixed and the new structure is officially up and ongoing. Y'all will see me in a new room in my videos in possibly a month, give or take.

🦜  YOUTUBE: I filmed a long check-in video that will be live on YouTube by tomorrow evening. I will give y'all Patrons here early access to it here by tonight. It's basically an update where I go in about what's really been in my way for the last 6+ months that I didn't realize was happening until I got help with it: my depression. I went into quite a bit of sharing with that and all the elements in my life that triggered my depression to wake up from its hiatus, so if anyone is interested in hearing me chit-chat, the video will be up here tonight (Saturday, 1/6/24 9pm CST) and will be live on YouTube tomorrow (Sunday 1/7/24 8pm CST).

🦜 PATREON CHANGES: the fun part of this post, I think. 😝 So Patreon has added a Community Chat section. From my understanding, it seems like a Discord-like thread where everyone is able to talk amongst each other. I contemplated for awhile about whether I'd like to activate that or not due to the fact that I'll just be adding on another task to handle, which is to moderate. After much contemplation, I decided to get the Chat started and it will be available for the Captain and Captain Jack Sparrow tiers. It will be officially active tomorrow 1/8 (Sunday) at 12pm CST.😁 Another addition that I will be adding are livestream reactions.😲 This is going to feel totally crazy to me because I've never reacted to K-pop live with y'all before. This is still in the works as far as a new goal here (like whether I plan to live-react to everything or specific things like request-athons, albums, k-dramas, etc.) but I thought I'd share this new element with y'all now. I'm excited for this one, I did a lot of livestreams on my YouTube in the early days and I enjoyed interacting with y'all very much. I stopped doing it on YouTube because it got VERY overwhelming so having it more small and personal with my crew here will be much more fitting for my capability.

Alright, I believe that's all I have for now as far as updates and chit-chatting. A huge SUP to the new crew members who recently joined the ship and a huge THANK-YOU to EVERYONE who's continued to show your extra support here on my Patreon even when I've been unintentionally absent and not creating as much as I've always planned to be doing. Your patience and understanding NEVER goes unnoticed or unappreciated. But I'm back and ready to attack my doubting side with my TRY-ME side.😈
