That was a tough watch. I do appreciate that XG shared all this. Thanks Thina for hanging through it with us, lol. That was horrible for Airi, but I hope she continues to get all the support in the world. She seems like a very special individual that was forced to take a detour.

2025-01-23 00:40:59 +0000 UTCI don't know why they would let her train for an additional year after telling her she wasn't debuting. It's so cruel to do the mascara prep just to boot her at the end. I don't buy the better off solo explanation at all. Airi and Jurin were really close, they (Along with Harvey) had known each other well before XgalX. I do wonder why they didn't show Jurin's response to the news.

2024-12-12 22:27:14 +0000 UTCOut of all the Xtra Xtra episodes this was the toughest one to watch -- knowing that Airi, Jurin and Amy have known each other years before XGALX Auditions and Airi not making the cut is truly heartbreaking. Even though she left XG and pursued her own career (she performs as a solo act now - under her own name, Kamiya) she left a lasting legacy, especially with the word HESONO-O, which means umbilical cord and the significance that they are bonded together forever.

2024-02-08 04:16:11 +0000 UTCApparently, Airi came up with the word "Hesonoo" while describing the group. Hesenoo means umbilical cord in Japanese. As she wrote in her letter, all eight of the girls are connected by Hesonoo, an umbilical cord, signifying their sisterhood. The group always chants Hesonoo whenever they perform and now "Hesono-o" is the first track of their new mini album. What a journey!

Im not sure if you know but airi is a solo artist now and she goes by the alias KAMIYA (https://www.youtube.com/@kamiya368). She is also still close with XG and simon of course but she went her own path while still cheering and supporting xgalx and XG. i wish she had stayed with xgalx and debuted as a solo artist there im sure that's what simon wanted for her. Well onto Infinite episode see you there and thank you for your time!
