OK YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON (besides me to others haha) that I have seen mention Daft Punk for Anywhere but Home THANK YOU. YES. I was saying Daft Punk, a little Jamiroquai maybe - these are the vibes. Soooo interesting about Because! WOW. I would have never thought of that, but I can see the elements of the song that are making you think about that song. I love your thoughtful commentary for each song as always, really considering the message and the way its communicated. Seulgi being lyricist for Dead Man Runnin', I especially loved your appreciation for her poetic lyrics. For me - Bad Boy, Sad Girl through Los Angeles I keep calling it the "floating" section - dreamy, vibey.... so beautiful... and we get a little grittier again with Los Angeles and then grounded back into the darker feel to prepare to loop the album again with Crown. :D <3 You heard it! YES. YES. Like this album is so perfect, the line of how you move through each song is perfect. This is the absolute greatest solo debut. I'm a Wendy ult and her debut was perfect for her - but as a whole package? I can't deny I think this is a stronger complete package as a soloist debut. Wendy's voice speaks for itself, of course - and that is what her debut focused toward, while being in a reflective mode due to her recent history I feel was appropriate. But SEULGI?? She is a legend and an icon and just getting started really <3
