This episode is just too hard to watch because of that photographer…

Sixteen is really a pain in the ass to watch, its so hard seeing the girls lose confidence each episode when in fact they really show a good performance. I get it that it tests their will but its not really acceptable at some points.

Talent gets your foot in the door.... the rest is Confidence and a hard working attitude that you can fall back on when things aren't at their best JiHyo is overweight for an Idol wannabe on Sixteen, she is also aware of it because JYPE have monthly Trainee assessments where weight is measured so she has been aware of it for a decade The likely reason JiHyo and Sana didn't get into Majors' in the first Episode was their weight which was monitored by their Trainers and the A&R monthly for the last 36 months We're in the 2nd episode, but we're already seeing the value of how Confidence affects each Individual

nice, although i think you picked an upload with bad subs, some of it wasn't translated well or straight up missing

Jihyo gained a lot of weight just before Sixteen because she was depressed about her debut being cancelled. She lost all that weight and more in the first year after Twice's debut. I think most dancers understand what happens to their performance when they suddenly gain 20 pounds. I think 'overweight' is a better translation of the word the photographer used in that context.

sixteen is a bit of a rollercoaster.... I felt momo was unfairly criticized frequently, and Jihyo was fat shamed multiple time :(. I’m glad momo has regained her confidence in dance, and Jihyo stopped caring about the ridiculous body standards that were placed on her.
