I love nature and going on trips with friends/family so it’s definitely a good experience to have at least once in your life if that’s also something you enjoy. I’ve camped in Lake Tahoe, beautiful place. One of my favorite places to visit. If you ever go, I recommend kayaking on the lake it’s fun! I’ve also camped at Zion National Park. Hiking through the Colorado River was... an experience to remember. LOL I’m 5’ 1” and at the time the river came up over my head and I struggled a bit getting through it, 😅 but there’s like so many different trails out there. I highly recommend visiting Zion someday if you haven’t gone.
