I recently posted an IG clip about the loudest stem master I've done for a client this year. It raised many comments and I got many DMs from some of you asking me to cover that project.
So that's what I'm doing. I'm also taking a look at a recent Subfocus song.
In this context, I'm discussing the production as well as mastering (mostly limiting/clipping) side of things.
I want to emphasize: 1) You do NOT have to go this loud and 2) I am NOT a loudness advocate.
But my audio engineering job is largely a customer service job, so if someone wants to go really loud, I'll do my best trying to make it happen. Just like a chef preparing an extra spicy meal if requested.
The song in question is Teotek - Incessant Fluorescent (Gade System Remix) and it's coming out later this year.
Will soon get back to Breakbeat Of The Month and more dynamic things! 👌🏻😋🥁
