Song walkthru: FatGyver – "Slow Progress" (+ drum samples)

So in this video, I'm covering a song called "Slow Progress" from the recent FatGyver album.
Going thru the bass and drums (Addictive Drums 2), mostly, as that's mostly what the song offers.
Peeping a few plugins too and hearing what compressor can do to drums to get their aggression up quite a bit.
Giving LoopCloud a look too and see how it works…I think it's dope!

Glad you like it! Been meaning to do another AD2 session where I'd just freestyle it, doing some hiphop and DNB beats…it will come :)

2023-07-10 06:48:58 +0000 UTCwow i couldn't believe the drums were from a sampler. i'm gonna have to look into the various compressor fx devices you used. :O also have you tried using the 'randomize' option in a midi groove instead of having to use the m4l tool that breaks your undo hotkey? i admit i basically never use grooves so maybe there's a difference i dunno about.
