I think that for purely resonance work, I use Soothe a bit more, as it's grrrreat for overall resonances, even on the master (I often use two instances of Soothe 2 on the master for overall smoothing), but when it comes to surgical resonance sniping, ProQ3 with its freeze feature is just too useful. Lemme know how to Slate one works for ya!

In most cases I'm able to get away with the basic Live EQ, but hunting for resonances with that is a nightmare. The Pro Q freeze feature seems super useful. Will probably buy it, unless SlateDigital suite offers something like that, gotta dig. Soothe does look like a nice magic one button solution, but I'm not sure if it's worth the money in terms of how much time it saves overall
