He had always loved dogs, ever since he was a child. Their fluffy fur and wagging tails always gave him a sense of warmth. When he heard that a dog-themed café had opened in the city center, he immediately wanted to check it out. The weather was nice, and he dressed casually, stepping lightly into the warmly decorated café.

The shop was filled with the scent of coffee, and a few fluffy dogs ran around inside. Illustrations of puppies lined the walls, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Just after he sat down, a waitress in uniform approached and asked what he would like to order. He asked for a cream latte and whether he could play with the dogs. The waitress smiled and said of course.

Just as he was about to get up and play with the dogs, the waitress looked at him with a glint in her eye and whispered, "We're looking for a café mascot girl. Since you love dogs so much, why not give it a try?" He was caught off guard, thinking it was just a joke, and waved it off with a smile. The waitress said nothing more and went off with his order.

When the coffee was brought over, he didn't think much of it—just noted how rich the aroma was. After one sip, he felt a bit warm. He continued playing with the dogs, crouching down to pat one on the head. The little dog affectionately nuzzled his leg. He laughed, but then suddenly noticed something strange. His clothes didn't feel right. Looking down, his T-shirt had tightened, and his chest was beginning to swell. He stood up and realized his legs had become slender.

His jeans had transformed into a plaid skirt, swaying lightly with his movements. He quickly sat back down, heart pounding. His socks stretched up from his ankles to above his knees, turning into white knee-highs with a checkered pattern, snugly wrapping his now smooth, slender legs. When he looked down, he saw that his feet were now in black high heels, polished to a shine, round-toed, with small bows neatly tied on top. The solid heels clicked softly as he moved his toes.

She froze, watching all of this unfold. Her outfit had completely changed into a dress in shades of cream and black, with a large bow on the chest and frilly lace at the sleeves. Her hair had become soft and wavy, with accessories added on top. She didn't feel panic—oddly, it all felt natural. The puppies seemed even more drawn to her now, circling her feet, with one even hopping into her lap.

She looked down at the heels—sleek, glossy black, with straps wrapping around her ankles, the heels clicking softly against the floor. Her long socks fit snugly on her legs, the pattern clear. She instinctively brushed her fingers across the fabric, feeling a quiet sense of delight.

She stood up, her skirt swaying gently as the dogs danced around her. The same waitress returned and handed her a name tag that read "Today's Mascot Girl." She looked into a mirror. Her eyes sparkled, cheeks slightly flushed, lips curled into a soft smile.

From that day on, she came to the café every day and officially became the mascot girl. Wearing those heels, she walked across the polished floor, serving customers and playing with the dogs. Her long socks shifted softly with each step. When a dog jumped into her arms, she would sit down, holding it gently as she sipped coffee. She never thought about turning back—because this life, simple and warm, was just right.
